Coaching Clinics 2015

  Athletics NSW will be presenting the following upcoming coaching clinics:

  • Level 2 Recreational Running - Newcastle on Friday, August 21, 2015.  Click here for more information.

  More courses are in planning stages, including IAAF Kids Athletics Upskilling courses.  Details will be released once they are confirmed.

Greater Fun Run Raymond Terrace

The Greater Raymond Terrace Fun Run is the next Fun Run on the Greater RunNSW series on Sunday 6 September. Featuring a 8km Fun Run, the Greater 4km Fun Run and children's 2km, with a distance for all runners, it's a great family day out for Father's Day.

This Fun Run offers a great race for the novice and experienced runners alike with its community atmosphere and supportive volunteers and spectators. The run is held in the picturesque settings of Raymond Terrace, a historic river town located on the banks of the Hunter River. Featuring a 8km, 4km and 2km events, all of each will have ‘father and child’ categories for Father’s Day.

Athletics RoadShow

The Athletics Roadshows are an athletics extravaganza: a joint initiative between Athletics NSW and Little Athletics NSW, providing club development; coach, athlete and officiating updating; and athletics teaching for coaches, athletes, administrators and officials. 

Being held locations across NSW including Wollongong, Coffs Harbour, and the Far North Coast. Enjoy this opportunity to meet some of the best athletes and coaches in NSW!

Schools Knock Out - Hunter CANCELLED

Sadly, we have not received a minimum number of entries to run a functioning Hunter Schools Knockout for this year. In lieu of this, Wednesday’s event at Glendale has been cancelled. If any school based in the Hunter Region is still keen to participate, we would love to have you attend the Sydney round of Schools Knockout on Thursday August 20th commencing at 4.00pm. Find A Club

Athletics New South Wales has 88 affiliated Member Clubs throughout New South Wales, with each providing a range of services, competitions and importantly social opportunities to members in their communities.

The Club's all offer something for each type of new and upcoming, social or seasoned type athletes including Juniors and Masters training and events, as well as competitions and training for throwers, jumpers, sprinters, social and recreational runners and athletes with a disability.

Athletics NSW Clubs also specialise in particular events and various Clubs have specialist coaches that can provide you with specific expertise. Refer to the Find a Club button below and become a Member of your local Club today.
