Commonwealth Games Team Preview
Monday night, the Athletics program at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games kicks off at 7.10pm with the men’s 100m. The scheduled 400m hurdles heats, which feature our own Matthew Hunt, have been cancelled the first round when the entry numbers dropped to 24. Hunt will now start his campaign on Thursday morning AEST.

Australian Athletics 30-years service award: NEIL BARNETT: Kembla Joggers
At the recent NSW Cross Country, we recognised the outstanding service to Athletics in NSW by Neil Barnett of the Kembla Joggers club.

NSW Cross Country Relays: UTS Norths and Sydney Uni claim titles
Despite heavy rain in the preceding days, the postposed 35th NSW Cross Country Relays got under way in perfect conditions at the Armony at Newington.
The open championships were won in contrasting styles. In the women’s UTS Norths dominated from the first leg, while the men’s was a closer race, with Sydney University eventually taking a comfortable victory by 10 seconds.
