Representative Athlete Pathway Program (RAPP)
The Representative Athlete Pathway Program (RAPP) is an ANSW initiative designed to support our elite and emerging elite athletes take the next step in their careers by experiencing European-based training and competition during the international season. The objectives of the program are to:
- support NSW athletes to train and compete in Europe to maximise the number of NSW athletes qualifying for Australian senior representative teams;
- provide a pathway to Athletics Australia’s National Athlete Support Structure (NASS) and underpinning NSWIS programs;
- inspire the next generation of athletes to continue in the sport throughout their teenage years; and
- create a Team NSW culture amongst our elite and emerging elite athletes, who will become ambassadors for the sport in NSW.
