Age Manager Training and Teaching Little Athletics Skills
The Age Manager Training Online workshop offered by NSW Athletics is designed for individuals who want to improve their ability to support and guide children participating in Athletics at the grassroots level. This course is ideal for current or prospective Age Managers, age group leaders, parent helpers, or anyone interested in learning the basics of Athletics events.

The Introduction to Teaching Little Athletics Skills (ITLAS) is a free and practical coaching course designed to help participants confidently teach basic Athletics skills to children, particularly in the primary school age group. The course focuses on event-specific techniques, games, and drills tailored to the Little Athletics program.
This course is ideal for:
- Parents and volunteers assisting at Little Athletics centres
- Age Managers
- Primary school teachers preparing students for athletics carnivals
- Individuals with little or no coaching experience
- Those planning to pursue further coach accreditation or already holding a Level 1 Youth Coach accreditation.
