HUNTER REGION SUMMER SERIES – Round 1

SUNDAY 28th November 2021

This meet will be run at ANSW Permit Status

Please Note:

Due to refurbishment of the grandstand roof and upgrade of the infield at the Fearnley Dawes Athletic Track this round is being held at the Maitland Regional Athletics Facility.  

ONLINE ENTRIES ONLY –

Due to COVID-19 restrictions under no circumstances will on the day entries be taken

Ages: 6 to Masters
Time: 1.30pm to 6.00pm
Cost: $15 for up to 5 events
Registrations Opens: Thursday 4th November 2021
Register: There are two Registration / Entry types

Sunday 28th November 2021 – Track Events
1:30pm – Short Hurdles (age 12+)

2:30pm - 60m (age 6+)
3.15pm - 1500m (age 10+)
4:00pm – 100m (age 6+)
4.45pm – 400m (age 7+)
5.30pm – 3,000m Race Walk (age 13+))

Sunday 28th November 2021 -Field Events
1:45pm – Shot Put (ages 6-12)
2:00pm - Long Jump (age 13+)
3.15pm - Discus (Age 17+)

3.30pm - Long Jump (age 6-12)




Rules

  • The competition shall be run to World Athletic rules
  • 1 false start rule shall apply to 13 years and above running events
  • Seeded Events will be conducted for under 13 and over 13 Men and Women up to 800m
  • Athletes shall be seeded according to ability (if times submitted on entry)
  • Spikes worn must be max. of 7mm in length
  • Age restrictions will apply to appropriate events
  • ​Mixed events for 3,000m and longer​
  • All throwers must use the correct throwing implement for their age.
  • Athletes in field event (except high jump) will have the duration of the time allocated for their event for completion of their trials.
  • Due to COVID-19 Restriction/regulations the conduct of events may vary from normal competition rules.

Timing : Photo finish shall be in use

Check in: Athletes are not required to check in, but must QR code on entry to the venue and show proof of vaccination.

Spectators/Visitors/Coaches Must register their attendance by scanning the QR Code or manually completing the attendance register on entry to the venue and show proof of Vaccination.

Results: Live Results will be available via the QR code displayed at the venue.

Canteen: Coffee van will be onsite and limited packaged food and drinks available from canteen.

Event entry is subject to the following conditions -

  • All participants/attendees must not attend the event if they have been in recent contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19
  • All people attending the event must be:
    o Fully vaccinated; or
    o under 16 years of age; or
    o have been issued with a medical contraindication certificate compliant with the Order.
  • This event has a limit of 700 attendance, whether they be participants, coaches, parents, administrators, volunteers and spectators, and they must be fully vaccinated, under the
    age of 16 or have a medical exemption as per above.
  • All attendees MUST QR code in and out of the venue using the QR Code displayed at the venue entrance and do so on every occasion.
  • Proof of vaccination must be provided to the COVID-19 Safety Coordinator/s on entry.
  • COVID-Safe protocols will be in place i.e. Check-in point, athlete screening questions, sanitiser stations and social distancing
  • If you have visited or have been in contact with someone who has visited one of the NSW Health identified COVID hot spots please do not attend - please see the NSW Health website for more information
  • Please do not attend the event If you have flu like symptoms, have had a COVID test and awaiting the result.
  • I understand I may not be granted entry if I do not comply with the facilities conditions of entry stated on the event page
