The Australian Junior Track & Field Championships, proudly hosted by Australian Athletics, and is the nation’s premier event for emerging athletes aged Under 14 to Under 20. This inclusive and high-profile competition brings together the country’s most promising young athletes across all abilities to represent their state in a full program of track and field events.Offering NSW athletes the chance to compete at a national level, gain valuable experience, and celebrate sporting excellence in a supportive and inspiring environment that champions diversity and equal opportunity.

There will be a new NSW competition uniform for 2026. Compulsory competition garments will need to be purchased by all Team NSW members attending the Australian Junior Championships in Brisbane. These include a competition top and competition bottom. These items will only be able to be ordered from the Valour representatives at the NSW Championships State Team room in the Dani Stevens Suite on the concourse. To avoid congestion, it is highly recommended that athletes attend to try on and order as they arrive at the championships where possible. Ordered items will be shipped to the athlete’s home address following the NSW Championships. |
