Date: 24th - 25th January 2026
Location: Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre (Warm Up Arena)
Cost: $50 per athlete
Eligible Age Groups: 16s - Masters + National Qualification opportunity for the 14s & 15s (Additional participation events offered)
Permit status: This meet is ratified by World Athletics and AustralianAthletics (in the events for the Open, Under 20, 17s and, 16s age groups only). 14s & 15s age group events will be ratified as a state permit.

OVERVIEW
The NSW Combined Event Championships is weekend 1 of 2 for Combined Event athletes in NSW. Weekend 1 includes the State Championships for athletes in the 16s- Masters age groups, with non-Championship participation opportunities for athletes in the 14s and 15s age groups.

VENUE
The NSW Combined Event Championships was originally scheduled for the SOPAC main arena but has been relocated to the Warm Up Track as a result of the delays to the resurfacing of the main arena

The individual events and specifications used for each age group is available in the technical regulations/Competition rules available below.
The 14s and 15s are non-Championship events. The Championships for these age groups will take place on Weekend 2 in Maitland. However, 14s and 15s events on weekend 1 will serve as the official qualification opportunity for the Australian Junior Championships.

EVENT PERMIT

This meet is ratified by World Athletics and Australian Athletics (in the events for the Open, Under 20, 17s and 16s age groups only). This also includes all allcomers events. Athletes competing in these age groups can qualify for international and national competition, accumulate World Athletics ranking points, break Athletics NSW and Australian Athletics records, and have their performances added to World Athletics top lists.

All other events (including the 14s & 15s age groups) will be ratified as a state permit, allowing athletes to qualify for the Australian Athletics Championships.
