RevolutioniseSport

RevolutioniseSport or RevSport for short, is the membership platform that NSW Athletics uses.

When any member registers athlete or volunteer they are issused with a National ID and a Username. These are used to register for events and volunteering opportunities across the state. If an athlete wishes to compete interstate, they will require their National ID at the point of entry.

The platform includes:

  • A website
  • Event registrations
  • Training registrations
  • Australian Sports Foundation API integration for tax deductible donations
  • Club Shop
  • Club governance, such as meeting minutes and agenda
  • Injury and Incident reporting

Keeping your club administrators who have access to Revsport up to date is very important. If an administrator steps down from their position on the committee, it is important that the persons access to the club membership data base is removed.

All club administrators are required to hold a membership within the clubs membership portal. Click the button below for the handy guide

The majority of members have Two Factor Authentication (TFA) set up on their profiles. TFA is now very common, and provides an extra level security to a members profile.

You can create three types of events via Events > add event.

  • Placeholder events: this is the simplest form of event. This creates a calendar "placeholder" meaning the event details will be displayed on your calendar, but does not allow for any interaction (registrations or payments). This is best suited for notifying members of upcoming events (such as new season start dates).
  • RSVP events: if you select "Allow people to register for this event" under the Registration options, participants will need to provide basic details. RSVP events are perfect when you need to gauge numbers for catering or you need to pull attendance reports after the event.
  • Paid events: once you tick the option "This event accepts payment" under the Payment & Registrations heading. This option further allows you to set booking & late fees as well as create "ticket types".
