Every Point Counts as Treloar Shield Round 2 Delivers Another Weekend of Athletics

Published Tue 20 Oct 2026

Round 2 of the Treloar Shield saw another successful weekend of athletics across ES Marks and Blacktown, with athletes and clubs continuing to build momentum in this year's competition.

With two rounds now complete, the Treloar Shield is well underway, providing athletes with valuable competition opportunities while bringing clubs together from across NSW.

Every Point Counts

At Treloar Shield, every contribution matters. Whether it's an athlete stepping onto the track or into the field, or a volunteer helping behind the scenes, each plays an important role in their club's success.

While athletes continue to earn valuable points through their performances, club members can also make a difference by volunteering, with eligible volunteers earning bonus points towards their club's overall standing.

For every eligible volunteer who completes a three-hour shift, their club earns five bonus points for every age group it competes in during that round, with a maximum of four volunteers per club able to earn bonus points each round.

No previous experience is required, with volunteers paired alongside experienced officials to help deliver a great competition experience for everyone involved.

With plenty of Treloar Shield action still to come, now is the perfect time to get involved, support your club and make every point count!

Volunteer registrations must be completed by 9am Friday to be eligible for club bonus points.

Treloar Shield Points Score Update

The Treloar Shield points score will next be updated following Round 3, incorporating results from the opening three rounds of competition.

In the meantime, clubs are encouraged to keep turning out, supporting their athletes and making the most of every opportunity to earn points.
