Under the recently announced partnership with Little Athletics, any member of Little Athletics is eligible to compete for their Little Athletics Club
Access for Little Athletics members complements ANSW members who are registered as Open, Concession, Junior, or Youth member.
Members of the running community can also compete in non-champisonships races (Fun runs) that are avalible at our events through oput the season.
With the 2024 Olympics just around the corner and the rising popularity of Athletics, having a streamlined platform for Australian athletes to participate, develop and compete is crucial. With that in mind, ANSW and LANSW are joining forces to launch the NSW Athletics Partnership to simplify and enhance the Athletics experience in NSW.
As a result of this partnership, during winter 24 (and beyond) a unified competition offering will be available to the athletes of NSW. To this end, Little Athletics registered athletes will be eligible to enter what have typically been Athletics NSW events (and vice Versa). For instance, there will no longer be two NSW Cross Country Champions- all duplication removed.
For Little Athletics members, this opens up a range of additional state level competitions. For ANSW members (aged 8-17) this means access to a Winter Track and Field series.
Registrations are managed by the athlete/parent for each Championships.
Relay events are an exception, as the club will typically register all teams competing at once.
The events in the calendar above link to each specific event page.
