Event Information

The Sydney Half is a Half marathon event run around the Sydney Olympic Park precinct. The event will also run complimentary events such as a 10km and 2.5km fun runs.

Whether you're keen to tackle a half marathon before the warmer months, get a 10km tune up before the Sydney Marathon or want to experience running at the home of the Sydney 2000 Olympics - we've got you covered in the Sydney Half!

The course runs through many of the landmarks of Sydney Olympic Park. Starting on Dawn Fraser Avenue runs through Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre,  around the Accor Stadium and finishing on the Athletics Track.

It is fast and flat and perfect for participants of all standards to run that elusive PB.

The course is AIMS certified and endorsed by World athletics, meaning all performances are official and can be used for records and can be added to World athletics profiles and top lists.

ANSW member registration prices are found during the registration process.

The Half Marathon incorporates the NSW Half Marthon Championships.

Please note athletes must be a minimum of 16 years old as at the 31st December to event this event.

More information on becoming an ANSW member can be found on our website here.

Event Registration

If you are an ANSW member wanting to enter the State Championship, please register here.

Registration for the Sydney Half is available up to and including race day. However, if you wish to enter and be considered for the State Championships (and to receive the discount) you must register by 12pm on Wednesday 21st August.

Please note, if you want to register on the day this is a cash free event.

The Sydney Half is a fantastic opportunity for non-registered athletes to participate in ANSW products, but ANSW are cognisant to ensure that the NSW Championship component of the event is promoted and recognised appropriately.

As such, and after an extensive review, ANSW will manage two portals. ANSW members will register through RevSport (here), which will assign a discount (close to 50%), without the need to receive a discount code, as well as ensure that your membership is validated in an attempt to quickly recognise and present the State Championship medalists.

Non-members will enter through the race roster link (here) given they are not members of ANSW. After the registration, the experience will be the same regardless of what entry method used, with the added benefit for ANSW members of eligibility in a State

If you entered through the race roster portal you will not be eligible for a refund on the balance of your entry fee.

When registering through the Race roster portal you would have seen the prompt acknoweldging this...
