NSW Athletics School Holiday Camp will provide young athletes aged 10-14 an introduction to a high performance environment and to gain an insight into what it is like to train as an elite athlete.
Run by our NSW Athletics coaches, this camp will focus on:
- Higher level of fundamental skill development specific to Track, Jumps and Throws
- Introduction to strength development specific to their disciplines in the Athletics NSW performance facility
- Develop fundamental athletic skills in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Each day, athletes will rotate through 4 different blocks of training working on different technical and physical skills. Coaches will cater for differing age groups to ensure athletes are maximising their time and development during the School Holiday Camp.

Before submitting this form, please ensure that the child named in this application will be between 10 and 14 years of age (inclusive) at the commencement of the October 2026 camp. Please note: Due to the tightened age eligibility requirements for the October 2026 camp, children who are younger than 10 years of age or older than 14 years of age at the commencement of the camp will be ineligible to participate, and their application cannot be accepted. |
Cost:
- $131 for one day
- $114 for subsquent days.
Venue: Centre of Excellence, Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre.
What to Bring:
Please pack snacks, water bottle, towel and sunscreen. You can also bring with you spikes or throwing shoes if you have them. In the scenario of wet weather, it would be advised to also pack a dry set of clothes for the end of the day. Sydney Olympic Park is an all weather track which allows events to operate in wet weather.
Parking:
Parking is available at P2 (Aquatic Centre Car Park). Parents/ Carers will be about to validate their parking ticket for 4 hours free parking. On the day, please head to the Athletics Centre reception desk to collect your ticket validation.
