Join us for the 17th Great Volcanic Challenge on Gaanha Bula-Mount Canobolas near beautiful Orange in the Central West of NSW. The date has now been set for Sunday 24 March 2024. Put it in your diaries!
In 2024, it will incorporate the NSW Mountain Running Championships, to kick off the NSW Winter Running Season! To be eligible, Athletes only need to be members of the Athletics NSW as a Community Member, or full membership.
This iconic mountain trail run takes you over three peaks and through beautiful forest.
With a climb of 520 metres over 11 kms, it certainly is a challenging run/walk, hence the name but very satisfying.
