ATHLETE INFORMATION SHEET

WA Permit - Athletes can qualify for internationals and national competition, accumulate World Athletics ranking points, break Athletics NSW and Athletics Australia records, and have their performances added to World Athletics top lists.

ENTRY

Entry Lists (as at 3pm on the 22nd February 2023)

The NSW Juniors will now include the U13 age group for the 2023 Championships.

The timetable and entries will be adjusted to include the appropriate events.

Those who have entered in the Under 14’s age group, but born in 2011, will be moved to the correct age group.

If you would like to remain in the Under 14's age group, please contact us here.

Starting Heights and progressions (As at 23th February 2023)

 

For athletes that live in the Western region of NSW (West of Newell Highway) you may be eligible for help with travel costs. The Western Region Sport and Active Recreation Program will provide funding assistance to community organisations in the far west region of NSW to enable them to participate in sports and active recreation. There will be a National Para Classification opportunity at the Junior Championships. 

Athletes who are new to the sport, in a review year (review status 2023), or have a provisional classification - please fill in the form below to register your interest for classification on Saturday February 25 (possibly Sunday - pending interest).

VOLUNTEERS

To help the successful running of our NSW Junior Championships, we are asking for assistance from our athletics community to help our wonderful Technicial Officials. Volunteers will receive a Free Entry Ticket on the day they are assisting.

SPECTATOR INFORMATION

Please note tickets will need to be purchased for spectator access into the venue.

Athletes will be allowed in the gate for free but will need to show their accreditation pass which will be provided to them on their first day of competition.
