Australian XC Champs Preview – Kembla Joggers to host

The buzz is building ahead of Wollongong’s purpose built cross country venue hosting the 71st men’s and 58th women’s national cross country championships this Saturday. Host club, Kembla Joggers club, now celebrating their 44th year, were the first ‘jogging’ club to align with Athletics NSW and participate in club and championships events and have had many successes over the decades, not least the national 1500m record holder Ryan Gregson.

Hough close to qualification – World Champs days 3 to 5 NSW Wrap

Five NSW athletes found the going tough at the IAAF world championships on days three, four and five. High hurdler, Nick Hough, who had missed qualification for the Rio Olympics, was back in top form just missing progression to the semi-final in London. On the roads, Rio marathon star, Milly Clark placed 24th in the marathon.
