Macpherson is one to watch at NSW All Schools

Macpherson is one to watch at NSW All Schools

With the New South Wales All Schools Championships starting this Thursday the 12th of October, athletes are turning their attention towards the upcoming races, and no one more so than Teah Macpherson.

Teah is currently in year 11 at the Hunter Sports High School. Amongst her study and extra curricular commitments, her strength and sprints coach Lee Clark, alongside her hurdles coach Trevor Height, have been working hard to help her into the best form she could hope for. Boasting an assortment of remarkable PBs, including 13.91s in the 100m hurdles, 12.08s in the 100m and 24.61 in the 200m, Teah will definitely be the one to beat this weekend.

CEO Message - September 2017

Welcome to the Athletics New South Wales 2017/18 Summer Season!

To begin with, I would like to report on the election of a Chair of Athletics NSW.  At its September meeting, the Directors elected Dr Peter Higgins as the new Chair, replacing Brian White who has stepped down from the Board after five years of service as a Director.  Regular competitors will know Peter from his role as one of the senior officials in our sport, a commitment that has seen Peter appointed to the officiating team at the upcoming Commonwealth Games.
