Uniroo Jin certain to be a crowd favourite

An undoubted crowd favourite of the Australia world university games team, the Uniroos, in next week’s Universiade, will be Seoul-born Sydney University sprinter Jin Su Jung. The games, which run from July 3 to 14, will be held in the in the southern Korean city of Gwangju.

Moreau wins 118th NSW Cross Country title defeating a strong field

The 118th NSW Cross Country championships assembled a strong line up for the men’s 12km title held for the first occasion at the Kembla Joggers Cross Country Park, located just south of Wollongong. The key athletes to watch were 2014 medallists Ben Moreau (RBH) and Brad Milosevic (GIR) from the Ken Green stable shooting for his 14th title in the last 16 years, 1999 champion Scott Westcott (MQH), NSW distance runner of the year Matthew Cox (UTN), 3:34 1500m athlete Jeremy Roff (RBH), world junior representative Jack Stapleton and 21-year-old former NSW half-mile specialist, now based in Canberra Jordan Gusman.
