The largest ever edition of the NSW All Schools Championships came to a close today. 19 meet records were set over the four days of competition, which bodes well for the future of the sport in NSW and Australia.
The most impressive performances today came from Karlie Morton in the 15 years girls 200m (24.56s), Shane Loveridge in the 19 years discus (51.43m), Curtis Vella in the 15 years javelin (58.57m) and Ian Dewhurst in the 19 years 400m hurdles (54.01s). All four performances bettered the previous meet record.
Also recording swift times over 200m in completing the sprint double in the 17 years age group were Jake Hammond (21.63s) and Elly Graf (24.45s).
