This Saturday, the Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre will host the final round of the inaugural Treloar Shield.
UTS Norths are unbeatable for the Treloar Shield for the 2013/14 season leading the points table with seven weeks of straight wins:
1st UTS Norths 7 points,
2nd Sydney University 20 points,
3rd Asics Wests 22 points
4th Balmain 45 points
5th Mt Pritchard 64 points
6th Hills District 68 points
There has been impressive form from clubs Balmain and Mt Pritchard sitting in fourth and fifth places respectively. The leading country club is Kembla Joggers in 21st place.

This week 66 years ago (December 1947), John Treloar continued to emerge as an Olympic prospect for the London Games in 1948. Competing at Sydney Interclub, on the Henson Park grass track, he won the 100 years in the fastest time of the day 10.0 seconds. He was running for the University Club (Sydney) who won the match against Eastern Suburbs. The season interclub points were:
University 27 pts, Western Suburbs 25, Botany 21, Eastern Suburbs 19, South Sydney 15, Randwick Kensington 15, Nothern Suburbs 11.
