Please note that Treloar Shield 7 will now be essentially run as a replacement event for Treloar Shield 6 - as the vast majority of events were cancelled due to lightning.

The events run at Treloar Shield 7 are as follows:

Track - 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, Steeplechase, Sprint Hurdles, 3000m/5000m Walk
Please note that the 400m, 1500m, and 3000m events (track events added from the original Treloar #6 program) will be accepting online registrations only.
There will be no on the day entries accepted for these three track events.

Field - Women's Shot Put, Men's Discus Throw, Women's & Men's Javelin Throw, Women's & Men's Triple Jump, Women's & Men's High Jump

Welcome to the information page for the seventh and final round of the 2018/2019 Treloar Shield series, the premier multi-week interclub point score competition for this year's Athletics NSW Summer Series! 

Held between October 2018 - January 2019, the Treloar Shield series will comprise of seven weeks of interclub competition over the entire spectrum of track and field, and a Junior, Open, and Masters pennant will be awarded to the clubs who end up on the highest amount of points in each division.

This competition is open to athletes of all ages and abilities, and to both Athletics NSW members and non-members.

This competition will now be run only on the Main Track

We are offering the option of free entry to those athletes who choose to volunteer their time at the event, for at least one event/one hour (depending on the area you are volunteering in). You also have the ability to nominate a family member or friend to volunteer for you.  If you are unable to volunteer, that is ok, however you will be subject to the normal member fee of $10 for the Treloar Shield event.

Competition Status:

The Treloar Shield series has Athletics Australia Permit Status enabling athletes to qualify for National and International competitions and set state and national records.

Eligibility:

The event is open to members of Athletics NSW and Dual Members. Non-members may compete as a "trial" member for one (1) Treloar Shield meet throughout the 2018/2019 series, and will fill in a "Trialling Member" form at athlete check-in, when checking in for their event/s.

Athletics NSW members must wear their senior club uniform and their 2018/19 competition numbers. 

Dual Members must wear their senior club uniform (if applicable) and their 2018/19 OneSport/Dual Member numbers.

Trialling non-members will be supplied temporary numbers at athlete check in, and should wear a plain athletic kit when competing.

Entry:

ONLINE ENTRIES HAVE CLOSED. 

On the day entries will be avaialbe for all events for $10 members/$20 non-members, excluding 400m, 1500m, and 3000m events.

Age Groups:

Athletes compete as open athletes and will be placed in events based on ability (track events and jumps) and according to weight division in throws events.
