NSW Mile Championships
supported by Illawarra Blue Stars and the Illawarra Track Challenge

This event is permitted by Athletics Australia (AA). An AA permit allows athletes to qualify for international events and break state and/ or national records.
Athletes must be registered with an Athletics NSW affiliated club for the 2016/17 season. If you are not currently registered with a club you can register online here. Interstate athletes who are registered members of their state organisation are welcome to enter.
Registered Athletics NSW club members must wear their correct club uniform. Athletes must have their Athletics NSW 2016-17 registration numbers attached on the front and back.
NSW Mile Championship events = $20
On the day entry is available, but not guaranteed and will only be offered in races where sufficient space exists. On the day entry will incur a higher fee of $35 and must be completed one (1) hour prior to the race commencing.
Timetable & Startlists
The Mile races will commence from 6pm - the women's race is 6.00pm, and the men's race is 6.10pm. All athletes will need to check in at least 60 minutes prior to their race.

Championship Medals and Prizes
NSW medals will be awarded in the following divisions: U20, open, and 35+ as top 3 overall per division, inclusive of top 3 NSW at the completion of the event.
Illawarra Blue Stars are continuing to host this event, and have on offer the following prize money for the Mile Championships open division:
On the Day Check-in
All athletes in TRACK events must report to athlete check in to advise of their intention to compete at least sixty (60) minutes before the scheduled starting time of the event.
