This event is permitted by Athletics Australia (AA). An AA permit allows athletes to qualify for international events and break state and/ or national records.
Athletes must be registered with an Athletics NSW affiliated club for the 2016/17 season. If you are not currently registered with a club you can register online here. Interstate athletes who are registered members of their state organisation are welcome to enter.
Registered Athletics NSW club members must wear their correct club uniform. Athletes must have their Athletics NSW 2016-17 registration numbers attached on the front and back (except in pole vault and high jump events).
Events on offer:
All Comers: sprint hurdles, 60m, 100m, 800m, triple jump, pole vault, discus throw, shot put.
Championship: 5000m - races will be seeded and run as A race, B race, C race, etc.
U20 5000m Races:
The male and female U20 5000m championship will be included in the NSW 5000m Championships.There will be no separate races for U20 athletes. All races will be open seeded races and U20 placing's will be based on finishing times of those eligible. Medal presentation will be conducted at the conclusion of the A race.

All Comers: participants are to enter online at an entry cost of $10 for members and $15 for non-members. The entry fee is for unlimited events. On the day entry is available, and will incur a higher fee of $15 for members and $20 for non-members. On the day entry must be completed one (1) hour prior to the athlete’s first event
Championship: Online entry is $20 per entrant for the NSW 5000m Championships. On the day entry will be $35 per entrant, and must be completed one (1) hour prior to the event commencing. However, certain races may be full therefore we will place you in the most available heat matching your seed time.

On the Day Check-in
All athletes in TRACK events must report to athlete check in to advise of their intention to compete at least sixty (60) minutes before the scheduled starting time of the event.
Athletes entered in FIELD events only, are not required to report to athlete check in. Instead, field event athletes must report directly to the field event site at least twenty (20) minutes before the scheduled start time.
