The All-Comers and NSW 10,000m Championships will be held at the Fearnley Dawes Athletics Centre, Newcastle, on the afternoon/evening of Saturday, 13th January, 2018.
Both events are permitted by Athletics Australia (AA). An AA permit allows athletes to qualify for international events and break state and/or national records.
Athletes must be registered with an Athletics NSW affiliated club for the 2017/18 season. If you are not currently registered with a club you can register online here. Interstate athletes who are registered members of their state organisation are welcome to enter.
Registered Athletics NSW club members must wear their correct club uniform. Athletes must have their Athletics NSW 2017-18 registration numbers attached on the front and back (except in jumps events).

On the Day Check-in
All athletes in TRACK events must report to athlete check in to advise of their intention to compete at least sixty (60) minutes before the scheduled starting time of the event.
Athletes entered in FIELD events only, are not required to report to athlete check in. Instead, field event athletes must report directly to the field event site at least twenty (20) minutes before the scheduled start time.
The events being offered for the All-Comers competition are: 100m, 400m, 1500m, Sprint Hurdles, High Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw.
NSW 10,000m Championships
The NSW 10,000m Championships are to be held at Fearnley Dawes Athletics Centre on the evening of Saturday 13th January 2017 and conducted in the open category for both men and women. 10,000m races will be seeded based on seed performance and not age.
State Championship entry fee is $20. Athletes without a credit card or internet access should contact the Athletics NSW office well in advance of the closing date to arrange alternative entry.
Late entries will be only accepted if positions exist in the most appropriate race for the athlete. Late entry into the Championship is not guaranteed and if accepted will cost $35. The decision of the Athletics NSW Competition Manager is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Start Lists will be posted on the ANSW website by 5:00pm Friday 12th January 2017. Athletes should check these start lists to confirm the race they will contest and the start time.
All athletes must confirm their entry on the day at least 60 minutes before the race they have been entered. Failure to check in will result in the athlete being scratched from the event.
Athletes must provide a lap scorer, who must report to the finish line area at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the race.
