Gannan Park – Take Numa Rd (a Loop Rd, opposite the start) a good 10 minute walk.
The course is within the park boundary, with the top section, 1.4km transverse’s through rain feed
watercourses that lead into a small creek running through the park. – This section is extremely challenging
with inclines & declines over sometimes soft too muddy sections (if there has been rain), real cross country

From the start the course climbs towards Wicks Road, a right turn below the footpath to follow the park
boundary, after the storm water outlet the 500m mark, then a short climb before the turn around (trees), near
the Hospital driveway.
Then a decline section, then a long incline crossing a muddy section (if rain), towards a signal large tree, the
course continues, turns to the left, after about 50m another left to run between a path of trees, passing the
1km mark - towards a white sign post
From this point the course can be muddy towards the creek, veer to the right after the first tree, then follows
the creek towards another watercourse. The course veers to the right to cross over another storm water outlet,
then left to rejoin the creek line, down through the trees, past the 1k5 mark following the park boundary. A
right turn at the end (roadway/ parking), then right again (approx 30m) then a slight grade of a couple
hundred metres to the finish.
Note course conditions are will depend on the amount of rain, up to a month before - it will be muddy.
