Athletics Australia is hosting a free professional development session opportunity for all IAAF Kids’ Athletics (Sporting Schools) coaches. This session will include Kids’ Athletics “Masterclass” which will cover ideas and examples to assist coaches in delivering the program in the school environment. Also covered will be the newly developed Active Aths program for Secondary Schools. The Australian Sports Commission’s Sporting Schools Program will engage targeted Secondary Schools from Term 4 2017 and Active Aths will be the program offered to these schools. Attendance at this session will provide coaches with the required upskilling to be engaged as Active Aths coaches. This will extend your qualifications to deliver this modified form of athletics from the Primary to the Secondary systems
