Athletics Coaches Needed – Meriden: An Anglican School for Girls

(Suitable for current coaches or athletes with a passion for Athletics)

 

Meriden is currently seeking qualified, experienced and enthusiastic casual coaches for their Athletics and Cross Country programs for 2017.

 

Coaches will assist the Head Coach in the delivery of various event group disciplines as directed, and may be offered up to five 2 hour sessions per week.

 

Training sessions are generally held before school (6.45-8.00am) and after school (3.30-5.30pm).

 

Sessions are held at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre, Strathfield Park or on site at school.

 

A coaching accreditation of Level 2 or higher and IAAF Kids Athletics Accreditation is preferred, but not essential. All applicants will be subject to a working with children check.

 

Payment rates are hourly and are dependent on coaches experience and qualifications.

Connecting coaches to clubs

The growth of Accredited Athletics Coaches in the recent months has been incredible, with many individuals completing their Level 1 or higher. 

To assist clubs to connect with qualified coaches we are creating a Coaching Roles Board that will list available club roles to our 5000+ accredited coaches. If your club is looking for new coaches, complete the registration form online by clicking here or complete the manual document here and return via email.

Recognition of Current Competence (RCC)

RCC (also known as Recognition of Prior Learning, RPL) is available for some courses within the Athletics Australian Coach Accreditation Framework.
