Boobs on the Run

Entry level and intermediate coach lead running programs

Boobs on the Run is a Sydney based women's community group offering entry level and intermediate coach lead running programs. Our main aim is to Get Running and Stay Running within a supportive and fun-loving environment. We believe firmly in promoting women's health and support local cancer charities with regular donations. Now chiefly based in Sydney's Inner West, we plan to expand to the Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches 2016/2017. 

 Applicants will ideally:

  • Hold a Level 1 Community Athletics and/or Level 2 Intermediate Recreational Coach qualification
  • Enjoy running (you do not have to be an experienced runner, as long as you run regularly for a minimum of 30 minutes, and are fit!)
  • Have knowledge of common injuries, their prevention and treatment
  • Be used to working with complete beginners
  • Have own means of transport
  • Hold current insurance
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Display a sound working knowledge of safe exercise principles, technique and injury avoidance
  • Have a good knowledge of healthy lifestyle principles

Run leader positions are offered on a contract basis and payment is based on completion of a full course of classes, each term lasts 10 weeks with 5 terms per calendar year. 

Full training on the Boobs on the Run method will be provided.

Connecting coaches to clubs

The growth of Accredited Athletics Coaches in the recent months has been incredible, with many individuals completing their Level 1 or higher. 

To assist clubs to connect with qualified coaches we are creating a Coaching Roles Board that will list available club roles to our 5000+ accredited coaches. If your club is looking for new coaches, complete the registration form online by clicking here or complete the manual document here and return via email.

Recognition of Current Competence (RCC)
